After more than 4 months, the Japanese sweet potatoes are back!!!
What a delight as these were originally from the sweet Japanese potatoes bought from the local supermarket.
Haven't decided what to do with them.
Hmmm...maybe some local dessserts.

Replanting.....hope to see them again.

Bittergourd

Bittergourd aka bitter mellon

Our bittergourd is ready to harvest.
After much anticipation and everyday lookout (mr. snails and mrs. slugs!), voila!!!!

Wowwwwww!!!! The luscious bittermellon

Almost covering our kitchen window
There are few more baby gourds. I wonder why they don't grow at the same time. Well, that's better as we can have fresh bittergourd every week.

How shall I cook thee?
This time around it's the traditional Asian soup! Clear soup or broth to some. With some tips from youtube, the result is so yummmyyyyy, well, according to the food critic of the house.
